The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 notification. The exam will be held in two sessions — January 2026 and April 2026 — in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across India.

Key Highlights from the NTA Advisory

Candidates can appear in either one or both sessions. The best score will be considered for the final merit list.

NTA is increasing the number of examination cities to ensure greater accessibility for students across India.
3️⃣ Support for PwD/PwBD Candidates:
Special arrangements are being made to meet the needs and requirements of differently-abled candidates.
4️⃣ Aadhaar-based Authentication:
NTA will obtain Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Photograph, and Address directly from UIDAI through Aadhaar authentication to minimize data entry errors.
5️⃣ Name Mismatch Resolution:
In case of a mismatch between the name on the Aadhaar Card and Class 10 Certificate, NTA will provide an option during the online application process to correct this.
